What to Expect

Enjoy a puff of fresh air and a panoramic view from the top of “Trou Aux Cerfs”, an extinct volcano about 700,000 years old. A brief stop in the town center of Curepipe to visit a ship model factory and for some shopping.

Before lunch, you will proceed to Grand Bassin, a sacred lake for pilgrims of the Hindu community. Only a stone’s throw from this mystical site is the Black River Gorges, Chamarel, and its colored earth.
