Extensive Hiking List For Mauritius:

Exploring the wilderness and beauty of Mauritius is best done on the trails, hiking a mountain or swimming in a waterfall. Mauritours can organise a personal driver to pick you up from your accommodation and take you to the trail.

This luxury allows you to enjoy the trail and take some of the stress of travelling.

1) Having a driver allows you to have a security blanket as phone signal is often weak or non-existent.
Our driver will be aware of your hike and have a predetermined pickup time. If this pickup time is delayed he will notify the authorities and a search party will be deployed.
2) You can forget about looking for somewhere safe to park the car and avoid any theft or damages from break ins that might happen at a hotspot while you are on a trail.
3) Larger Trail Options ,you can do trails such as the Black River Gorges where the ending point is quite far from the starting point.
4) Our driver can introduce you to the best spots to pickup some local food before or after the trail.
