Takamaka Winery

This Popular new destination is included in various Mauritours package tours that take place on the South of the island. This small environmentally friendly boutique winery has a small capacity of 20,000 bottles a year. The wine is tasted daily to monitor the evolution of the taste, visitors can partake in tasting this unique litchi flavoured wine either alone or paired with some carefully chosen food from the Restaurants Menu.

Let’s put things right from the start: we do not own a castle, we do not exploit any vineyard, moreover we do not work the grapes …

So please do not ask us to tell you about ancestral traditions or centenary plots … We would be very embarrassed and you would be disappointed!
